The studio was founded by Jan Černoch and Petr Šikola, together with Václav Dvořák. In 2024, Hana Klapalová and Josef Černý joined the leadership team. Today, DMNK consists of fifteen permanent members brought together by energy, creativity, and a shared vision.

Our work has earned multiple awards, from nominations for the Grand Prix of Architects, to several Building of the Year titles in the Czech Republic and the Slovenian BigSEE Award. We also received the Urban Design Project of the Year for the residential district Textilana in Liberec. Our projects have been featured in publications such as Forbes, Domus, and ArchDaily. Our clients include long-term private investors as well as major developers, municipalities, and public authorities.

Petr Šikola is an associate professor and studio head at the Faculty of Architecture, Czech Technical University in Prague. He has served on juries for architectural competitions and gained experience across Europe, China, and North Korea. Jan Černoch is a sought-after architect for historical renovations in central Prague and has worked in Milan and the United Arab Emirates. Hana Klapalová also teaches at CTU and has gained professional experience in Montreal, Taiwan, and Denmark. Josef Černý is a certified architect with the Czech Chamber of Architects, with a portfolio ranging from renovations to new developments.
